Fast User Switching?

hi all, i currently use standard Arch, and have openbox installed, but not yet configured.  i'm trying to implement fast user switching so that my partner can log in and use firefox or whatever without me having to log out.  is this doable in ArchBang?  i'm considering wiping this system and re-installing ArchBang.

thanks!

Re: Fast User Switching?

I think that's up to slim, the login manager. I don't see any switch user option. I know I had it when i used Crunchbang so you could switch to whatever login manager they are using.

Another solution is to use Ctrl-Alt-F1 to F3 to switch between tty's. I think you can start multiple X sessions that way, not tried.

Re: Fast User Switching?

You can logout to the terminal by doing Ctrl+Alt+ F2
login as the new user and start another xserver by doing:

startx -- :1
