Help with rxvt terminal

Hi, i been trying to modify the rxvt terminal and so far i got rid of scrollbars and made it transparent as i want it. But how does one copy/paste from and to this terminal? Found this http://jhm.cotren.net/node/325 but it's not working or it's because i don't got a real mouse now since i don't have it with me, it's my netbook and when i try the usual combo ctrl+shift+v i get funny popup windows in pink that i don't understand what they do?

Copy is done by selecting with the mouse. Pasting is done by middle mouse click or as usual with ctrl+v in case you installed urxvt-clipboard and added the following to your .Xdefaults:

URxvt.perl-ext-common:                 default,clipboard

Ok, so i have to install that before i'm able to copy because now nothing is working and what about the funny popup window, what's that all about?

Copy pasting by middle mouse click should work by default. I do not know what you mean by funny popup window.

But yes, if you want to use ctrl+v with urxvt, you need to install the clipboard extension.

When i hold down Ctrl+Shift it shows ISO 14775 mode in a little square which is pink.

Thx, that worked. But the best way would be if i could copy/paste with a key combo instead since i don't bring my mouse with me, any suggestions?
