Hello,
I would like to know your advise about the following problem.
- installation with a wired connection (wifi recognized : Broadcom) : OK
- reboot : OK
- initial full update with the wired connection : OK
- wifi connection : OK
- after a few minutes the system freezes.
Who has an idea ?
Thanks a lot.

Can you expand on "system freezes"?
You need to start by verifying whether the entire system is frozen or just X
I.e. can you can still get to virtual terminals with ctrl-alt-F2?
if not
is the system pingable from a remote host (if you have the ability to test this)?
Welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, well. To what do I owe the extreme pleasure of this surprising visit?

can you boot off a CD/USB device and see if there is anything in /var/log/everything.log after the next time it happens?

Third installation :
- wired connection although recognized wifi
- modification of my keyboard layout after the reboot
- modification of the repositories after the reboot
- full system update (wired connection) : no problem
- reboot
- wifi connection ok
- no menu with openbox

Go to http://wiki.archbang.org/index.php?titl … igurations and right click on menu.xml and save link as menu.xml in whatever folder you like. Copy the menu.xml, go to Home, right click and click on show hidden. Go to .config > openbox > and paste in menu.xml. Open a terminal and type in obmenu and see if that works
