Re: ArchBang 32bit version

Updating again to correct pacman-key issue (forgot to use archlinux32!). Did notice that I had an error in menu.xml (now fixed), makes me think no one actually uses an editor live.

At some point I might uncomment mirrors to make it a little easier to update/install packages.

I know that Archlinux is ending 32bit support, one of the reasons why I stopped building i686 isos. Still have an old Sony Vaio that is 32bit would love to run ArchBang on it once again wink

Re: ArchBang 32bit version

Tried to update an i686 laptop yesterday and it wouldn't update anymore...
No suggestions from pacman to use archlinux32.
You can find the information on the Arch website

The end of i686 support

2017-11-08

Following 9 months of deprecation period, support for the i686 architecture effectively ends today. By the end of November, i686 packages will be removed from our mirrors and later from the packages archive. The [multilib] repository is not affected.

For users unable to upgrade their hardware to x86_64, an alternative is a community maintained fork named Arch Linux 32. See their website for details on migrating existing installations.
