[Solved] Change i686 to i86_64

Hi all
This could be a very silly question to ask but I cannot find out any other way.
I have recently copied my instalation from my 32bit pc to a new lenovo 64bit pc, when Arch stops updating 32bit; will
it be possible to update to 64bit (new kernel maybe) or will I have to do a fresh install.
Hope this has not already been covered, I have failed to find this.

Thanks in advance.

You would more than likely have to reinstall, certainly it would be a better option on a modern 64 machine. You /home directory could easily be backed up and reused. Make a list of your current installed packages and your good to go wink

Thanks Mr Green
As ever I can rely on a prompt answer.
Maybe this time I would have rather have had a different answer but hey.
Have marked my  question Solved.

Thanks again.
