[Solved] Qt interface applications do not have title bar

Hi, I am having a problem with Qt interface applications and really need your helps.

All of my applications that use Qt as interface do not have any title bar now (as a normal user). They look like the attached screenshot.

If I open them with gksudo (gksudo vlc-wrapper) they are all fine with title bar as other GTK apps.

I am actually using Ubuntu, not Arch but desperately searching for the answer.

VLC

Re: [Solved] Qt interface applications do not have title bar

Thank you Mr Green for your answer.

I actually have been Googled frantically for the last few days and posting on a Openbox forums is my last try before deciding to live with it.

Your link is for KDE desktop and also for missing title bars for all application together.

Mine is only Qt interface application missing with normal user. If I start that same Qt interface app with Sudo power, it will have title bar. I think there are something about permission going on here, but I am not sure which file of Qt package defines title bar.

Re: [Solved] Qt interface applications do not have title bar

I have found out where the problem is. It was totally silly me big_smile.

VLC is viewing in fullscreen interface, Foxit window was accidentally drag to the top of the screen with the title bar part just perfectly hidden. I find out this by start Golden dict (an Qt interface app) and see that it is fine. The alt-space shortcut, to show all the customizing options of an Openbox window, have saved me from that point on!

Thank you Mr. Green for your concern!
