Poweroff

Hello again guys and thank you!! your help is important for me! because I am new! Now, either poweroff or systemctl poweroff like root or user my desktop works like reboot! even when I run xfce4    the button shutdown works like reboot... only I push hardware button my pc is turn off. what is wrong?

Are you using slim as a login manager?  I think that was one of the reasons it was no longer supported.

I dont know but I dont think, I mean I use slim as login manager... this guide I used https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/beginners'_guide

If you're not sure then you're almost certainly not using it.

A quick search of other sites suggests that it might be a BIOS issue... look for settings like 'always on USB' or 'wake up LAN' and try toggling them.  Sorry, but you might have to search for your motherboard and 'can't shutdown' on google
