Lumina DE for *BSD

Lumina DE is the new BSD licensed desktop environment created from people on PC-BSD. It's based on fluxbox and qt
and it's very lightweight. It would be nice to see it on Linux too. It would be a good alternative for people who like fluxbox or openbox.
For anyone who might be interested here's a Quick Lumina Desktop FAQ,
an installation guide for Lumina on FreeBSD, and a screenshot from my FreeBSD desktop using Lumina:

Re: Lumina DE for *BSD

So I fired up the new pc-bsd 10.03 I believe and chose lumina for my desktop.  So far no problems and seems to be pretty fast.

Re: Lumina DE for *BSD

nice.
There's a linux port, or should I say config/modification (of Fluxbox/Qt), for Lumina to work in Linux, from one of the pcbsd forum members, that I've been watching, but it's still ongoing, interesting 'fer sure.  And, of course, there is no systemd dependencies obviously. wink
The newer lumina file manager, from scratch, is interesting too.
