2013_04_22_1366628666_1360x768_scrot.jpg

Re: Summer release

I has obviously something to do with the theme.
If you give details I will look into it.

Re: Summer release

Spacefm is not playing well with gtk3 theme at all, in spacefm-gtk2 [aur] it looks fine. Had a go at messing around with tint2 in tintwizard and so far have:

Re: Summer release

All my gtk3 apps looks 'funny' (volumeicon, network-manager-applet, spacefm, deadbeef, gnome-player, etc)
So I don't think it's a spacefm problem.

EDIT

There you go...
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=161945

With last gtk3 upgrade (to 3.8.1) all themes doesn't work well.
A 3.8 compatible theme solve the issue.

Re: Summer release

gtk3 sucks ;-) you are right changing would help. I just find it a pain having to wade through millions of openbox/gtk2/gtk3 themes to find one that does all three.....

edit someone has asked dev of orion about possible update to 3.8

Re: Summer release

No problem with spacefm-gtk2 version for me.  Probably because that is what I am using!!!  GTK/GNOME is certainly not playing nice with the rest of the world these days.  But they have their priorities and like most projects, limited help.  I have confidence that the theme developers will keep updating.  I would expect some of the themes to be fixed by summer.

After a very long absence I had planned to return to Archbang but I too encountered the gtk3 issues plaquing the testing iso...
So as a consequence I am temporarily running on Manjaro...
But now, having found this thread, I now understand that Archbang has not lost it's purpose and I look forward to the next release.

Cheers
