Arch has released new install media now includes install docs.
Will get working on a new test release next week.

Yes, do keep an eye on this little, but potential gem (install.sh,...).
The "BSD" things in life are "Free", and "Open", and so is ArchBang!

Maybe it's an idea to separate the two things out:
1) base install script - something to convert a live CD into an installed O/S
2) archbang script - something to convert (1) to a fully fledged AB system
Making it (somewhat) modular allows people to install the O/S themselves and then convert to AB.

1) does not sound that easy, we do not ship with packages [abinstall merely copies]. If I can simply pull in packages then we could use arch-install-script. 2) would then be more possible.
Even thought about using Python ...
