ALSAMIXER PROBLEM [SOLVED]

Is there a way to store the alsamixer setting without it switching from working to not working as soon as i turn off the computer? I already tried alsactl store, but when i rebooted, it didn't store the setting. Any help would be appreciated

Re: ALSAMIXER PROBLEM [SOLVED]

I thought it was supposed to work where 'alsactl store' stores the setting and having 'alsa' in the DAEMONS array in rc.conf sets it on bootup.  Is that not the case?

Welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, well. To what do I owe the extreme pleasure of this surprising visit?

ALSAMIXER PROBLEM {SOLVED}

Thanks Oliver,

I forgot to edit the rc.conf file and add alsa under Daemons. After adding alsa under Daemons in rc.conf, it worked like a charm
