Are you sure that you point the installation to the right partition and don't swap by accident root and swap?
First you point to the swap partition
and secondly to the / root partition.
Alos check with a partition tool like gparted if the partitions are alright and with filesystem ext4.
And have you seen this: http://bbs.archbang.org/viewtopic.php?pid=10512#p10512

Hi, thx for replie!
im try again and check the partition scheme and all are ok. the first sda1 with 256mb for swap and the sda2 for the rest. after the error im restart the computer and try it again and see the partition im do it before.
im try also to do only 1 partition with only / root and same problem.
im try boot with vesa and without select boot partition (only 1 partition and boot flag not selected) and is freeze at 12% (no error but mouse stop working, cd stop reading).
im read "parallel unsquashfs: using 2 processors" but is a intel atom 1.6ghz. and not dual core.
each time im do it im have "partitions were successully mounted" so im thing im do everithing fine
im aslo try with assisted ppreparation and same error like first post.
im made memtest and no error. im have arch inslated and working before try this new version.
Any other idea?
Thx in advance,
Euphoria.

I'm having exactly the same problem with my Samsung N120 Netbook with Intel Atom processor and 1 Gb Ram.
I'll try out the March iso suggested above later...

Now I would suggest to try the newest iso from 10 May first!!
