PyPanel configuration question

I love PyPanel - it's easy for me to configure (except for this problem) and I like the minimalist feel of it. My question is this:
Does anyone know how to make each application/task a specific size? The way it is now, when a window is opened, it takes up the entire panel. When a second window is opened they both take up 50% of the panel (50%+50% = 100%). I like the way it looks best when there are five windows open. So can I set a size (in pixels) for each task to take up? Then when I open more than 5 windows, have it scale down the way it currently does (or similar to the current way?)

If you're thouroughly confused by what I'm asking; I want it to look like the Gnome panel when an application is launched (or similar to Windows taskbar).

Re: PyPanel configuration question

Looking at pypanelrc it does not seem to have a setting for application item size. I prefer pypanel to tint2 but tint2 just has many more features.

Did have a quick search but as pypanel is no longer maintained you might have to look for a patch or create one
