Wifi install

Hi there.
I have the following problem. Wifi to work on my PC needs this driver http://www.archlinux.org/packages/core/ … -firmware/. I have a question. When and how do I install it? I do not have wired access to the Internet all you have is a computer with windows 7 (which I want to delete).

Re: Wifi install

Can you download from the link depending on whether you have i686 or x86_64 from another computer and put it in a flashdrive?

http://arm.konnichi.com/2012/02/11/core … pkg.tar.xz

http://arm.konnichi.com/2012/02/11/core … pkg.tar.xz

If you can then add it to your home folder and open a terminal and

$ sudo pacman -U zd1211-firmware-1.4-5-any.pkg.tar.xz

to install it without internet connection.

GUI's?? We don't need no stinkin' GUI's!!!

Make clear why Archvortexs solution didn't work for you.
