Here is my desktop it´s still work in progress but for the next few days i can live with the flaws. Sometimes i caught myself thinking why the heck are you spending a half an hour just to align some text with its corresponding symbol but it is the Arch way i guess. After some distrohopping from Ubuntu (4years), Arch (6 month), Mint, ..., ..., Archbang is now my favorite distro. Archbang is like the best of both worlds, a rolling release with all simple thinks working out of the box. I used VinDSLs conkyrc as a basement. I should probably write less, hope you don´t mind the bad grammar :3

The Arch logo is part of the OpenLogos font from Icoma:
${font OpenLogos:size=72}${color2}B${voffset -30}${color0}${font DroidSansMono:bold:size=22}arch${color2}bang${font}${color}the "B" in "...color2}B${voffset..." should give you the Arch sign. The archbang text is just simple text, moved up and aligned to the logo.
I think i downloaded the fonts from here: http://ompldr.org/vOHdoag

OpenLogos 'B' doesnt give the archbang logo.

@wickedg33k very nice desktop, like your wallpaper
you have found some good configs
Offline
Current Debian-Squeeze (stable+backports) with Openbox WM
Actually, the newest point release/snapshot of #!Crunchbang Statler-20120207
On my new Thinkpad Ultra-Thin X1-Series Laptop (13.3" - Triple-Core i5 Processor - 6Gb RAM)
Just because Debian/stable is old, doesn't mean it has to be out-dated
With the latest 3.2-pae Linux-kernel and Mozilla's Firefox/IceWeasel-11 browser.
A beautiful Wallpaper I borrowed from: http://eldervlacoste.deviantart.com/#/d4oqfun

Latest release of #!Crunchbang-Statler v20120207
Basically a 'crunchified' Debian-Squeeze (stable+backports) with Openbox WM
Customized the theme, menu, tint2, conky and colorized everything.
Great wallpaper I found here: http://teddybearcholla.deviantart.com/a … -285302486

It is always nice when conky and wallpaper are so neatly integrated.

Here's my (very basic) Openbox setup. Only thing I've really changed is the wallpaper and panel (I'm using Pypanel which I seem to like better than tint2).
I want to remove the Shortcut Keys section of Conky but I still find myself referring it once in a while so I'm going to leave it there a bit longer.

#(sleep 3 && /usr/bin/nm-applet --sm-disable) &Then you will only have one network icon on panel

Hello from Greece.
I was a windows user and the last 3 years an ubuntu user.
After the unity desktop I try Sabayon and sidux and don't like me so much to hold it in my computer.
I have try archbung and I love it. I spend a couple days to build it with all that I need to use my computer like a home and workstation.
That's my desktop with adeskbar like replacement of tint2, Greek layout support ,Greek translation in open-box menu and transparent terminal.

Very nice desktop, @malapetsasc! Welcome to ArchBang. Also, I have circled you over at Google+
