[Solved] Display - Off by 2 pixels.

I have a Dell Latitude E5220 that has intel graphics and my native resolution is 1366x768 and it detects it as 1368x768 so I get where the screen moves 2 pixels to the left or right when going to the left or right of the display. I have searched and have not found anything that resolves this. A temp fix is to use the screen resolution editor but that resets on reboot. I have tried editing 10-xxx.config and still cant resolve this.

Re: [Solved] Display - Off by 2 pixels.

There is a lot of topics in this forum on setting screen resolution.  If adjusting the resolution with the Screen Resolution menu item works you may want to check my post #9 on this topic: http://bbs.archbang.org/viewtopic.php?id=2034.  There may be a more elegant solution.  If you try some of the other recommendations found in this forum but run into problems, post what you tried and the results and others will be able to help you.  Make sure you provide hardware info as well: as quoted from pablokal "Please! Always give hardware info, if there is a chance that 's relevant: #lspci -vnn".
