A program to look through pictures in a folder

In the ArchBang distribution I have the program Feh. It opens quickly but is not very handy to use. For ex. to look through pictures in a folder.
What do you recommend for me?

Re: A program to look through pictures in a folder

Thank you for the interesting description in https://fedoramagazine.org/17-alternati … on-fedora/
I tried to install some but for ex.:

[root@archbang ukki]# pacman -S qiv
error: failed to init transaction (unable to lock database)
error: could not lock database: File exists
if you're sure a package manager is not already
  running, you can remove /var/lib/pacman/db.lck
[root@archbang ukki]# qiv
bash: qiv: command not found
.....---
I may have some problems to use packman ... :[

The answer is in the first error message:

if you're sure a package manager is not already running, you can remove /var/lib/pacman/db.lck

# rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck
# pacman -Syu qiv

Re: A program to look through pictures in a folder

I find viewnoir very convenient as simple image and slide show viewer; gthumb is very neat for managing image files in folders and simple editing like cropping. Mcomix has the great advantage  that when you have finished  seeing the pics in one folder, it automatically opens  pics in the next folder.
