Hello all

Hello,

Installed Archbang today, and I love it. Thanks so much! First computer was the Spectrum ZX, and then C64, Amiga and then the Intel 386DX. Was still young then, and hadn't it been for my father I wouldn't have had so much fun during childhood. Still miss the BBS times. First distro I tried to install was Slackware from 3.5" floppies which didn't work very well. Printed the install manual as I can remember, but it was too complicated for me. Windows since then, but for a year or so I have tried to switch, and after using Linux as my main OS lately (Mint) I have finally converted.

Thanks for this great forum. smile

Re: Hello all

Hi treetops,
Thank you for your nice introduction.
A friend I lived in 1984 with a friend that had a computer with DOS, a word processsor and some silly games.
Wouldn't have believed then that i would spoil some much time with a pc.

Hi pablokal smile

Thank you smile Those were the days. Never thought that the computer would be a big part of my life the rest of my life, me neither. Linux brings me back to the times were computers were more fun. smile
