I am coming from another distro, used for work since 8 years now.
Before reformatting my main machine I am willing to test it under my QEMU-KVM environment.
I have defined a fairly good machine for it with an usual virtual HD.
I did everything (from keyboard mapping to new user) quite easily choosing GRUB as boot loader.
At the end I rebooted the VM but it failed to do so stopping at "Booting from Hard Disk...".
I have tried to find anything here about this issue but have been unable to find information.
Is there any hint for me?
UPDATE. GRUB2 won't work with GPT. I switched to DOS partition table (aka MBR) and it worked.
