Thoughts

Am very pleased with latest release, even after a minor feature that crept into iso (now fixed!). Our downloads are up once again which surprises me given the amount of competition we have. Tyler at ArchAssault has helped push iso release on Twitter. Not had that comments on ArchAssualt mode script. Am very close to including new installer. Features added are UEFI, LUKS, LVM (all in need of testing). Have avoided a full net-installer as it does not take long to do a image install that could be easily updated post install. Might include an update function if a working network connection is present (layer that with base-devel/aur helper).

Donations are very much non-existent, have had one in the past two months. Really need to aim at $10 a month to cover hosting costs.

Have sneaked in i3 window manager for anyone to try out, simply at boot menu hit TAB then type in 'wm=i3' (less quotes of course). ArchBang will remain Openbox based but just thought some of 'gui girls' out there could man up a little and try a tiling manager. It is not the difficult to use. Tip time 'Super+Return' opens a terminal

Thanks again for all your support and to oliver for putting up with all my bash related problems

Re: Thoughts

Still amazed at the number of downloads, has increased quite a bit since starting working on ArchBang. Would like to have ArchAssault repo enabled by default at some point.

Thanks
