Hi, just going to start off by saying I'm new to Arch
.
Anyways, I got the newest version of ArchBang installed, but when I right-click on the desktop, the drop-down menu is only visible for less than a second and disappears again. Any ideas on what to do about this? Thanks!

Right click the desktop and let the right mouse button go; don't hold it.

That's not the problem. Today when I booted into it, everything was working fine. But about an hour and a quarter later, it started happening again. I also noticed that the minimize/maximize/exit buttons in firefox's corner wouldn't work. I could only close the program by right-clicking it on the bottom bar.

Maybe you can use a program like htop to see what programs are active at that moment when this is happening and closing one programme and then another to see which one is responsible.
It is also possible you have corrupted your menu.xml file by editing it, although mostly it will not work at all in such a case.
