Amazing Desktop on Lifehacker

http://lifehacker.com/5903352/the-heavenly-desktop

It is a real shame that most of the desktops shown on Lifehacker are either mac or ms.

Re: Amazing Desktop on Lifehacker

Interesting article. I have a windows 7 dual boot option that I cannot bear to use due its kde like look plus the lack of understanding on how to ensure it was secure. I do not mind experimenting with this rainmaker stuff just for experimenting sake.
I may be one of those noobs that have heard of hackintosh, but never tried it out since, I do not know hardware requirements or compatibility.

In all honesty, I like the mac icons and some of the theme and layout ideas. In the end, I try to take as much ideas from mac, gnome, xfce, lxde, openbox, and my favorite e17(challenging, but gorgeous desktop)

I am never content and always changing something on my desktop look to suit my style. I could not use all mac look since certain parts limit my computing preference. But I have to credit them for a nice and relatively secure system.

There are some speculations, not confirmed that windows 7 may be redhat linux in disguise. lol.
