I have observed that the mount dialog (for USB sticks) appears sometimes, but am not sure what would make the difference between appearing and not appearing... Have not seen it appear for a CD, though.

I have the following processes running: dbus-daemon, ck-launch-session dbus-launch openbox-session. Haven't really touched anything, so I think all the defaults should be active...

Try this:
nano ~/.config/pcmanfm/default/pcmanfm.confand edit volume section to like this:
[volume]
mount_on_startup=1
mount_removable=1
autorun=1Offline
From today pcmanfm stopped working, it doesn't show my second HDD. If I mount or unmount HDD with disk utility it shows it, but after i close my pcmanfm and start it again I can't see HDD. Anyone know how to fix this? Yesterday i could see my HDD on pcmanfm. I haven't touch to any settings or update anything.

Possibly check your config files pcmanfm.conf and libfm.conf [in your user path .config]

Thank you, libfm.conf did the trick. show_internal_volumes was 0. I changed it to 1 and all works now.

You could more than likely have done it from Edit --- Preferences, but I chose the hard way ![]()
