Mplayer, gmplayer and smplayer can give an error, exit code: 127

Errors with mplayer may be related to this: the new mplayer ((build date: 10/15/11) and smplayer (build date: 11/11/10)) doesn't work together with libx264.so.119
Another possible error message:

/usr/bin/mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.118: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I had this problem too. Solved it by extracting libx264.so.118 from
the previous version of x264 ( x264-20111001-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz) in var/cache/pacman/pkg and copying it to /usr/lib/.
