Oh, that'll be easy. There really isn't anything I'd need to back up at this point, anyway. I only just installed it the other day. ![]()
I'm using Mint 11 on my main PC, but I've been trying Archbang on an older machine to test it out.
Just English. ![]()
Hmm, now I have this.
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again.
xinit: unable to connect to X server: Connection refused
xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "nymn:0" in "list" command
xauth: (stdin):1: bad display name "nymn:0" in "add" command
Okay, I just did that. Now when I tried installing a couple applications, they finished (VLC and Cheese). Neither one would start when I tried to open them, so I rebooted to see if that would fix it. Now I can't get past the login screen. I enter in my username and password and it goes black like it is about to login but then goes right back to the login. ![]()
It gave me this.

I got this.
/usr/lib/libxcb-keysyms.so is owned by xcb-util 0.3.6-2
So I need to file a bug report?
Okay, I found this post and followed the directions:
http://bbs.archbang.org/viewtopic.php?id=2268
But now I get this when I try to install:

Just figured I'd intro myself to all you archers. ![]()
I'm trying to follow the installation instructions for applications, but nothing will install. The packages download but I keep getting this when it goes to install.

I also get this when I first try the pacman or packer comands, not sure if it's related:
pacman: /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libalpm.so.7)
warning: config file /etc/pacman.conf, line 33: directive 'ShowSize' in section 'options' not recognized.
What am I missing? ![]()
